Health and Physical Education


Students will learn about the importance of having good emotional health and develop skills to help them manage and cope with stress and change. We want students to understand that if you think better, you feel better, and if you feel better, you will do better. Health classes focus on:

  • Four dimensions of health

  • Emotional/mental health

  • Nutrition

Physical Education

Students will learn how to make fitness a natural part of their life. They will design a personal fitness plan that they can use and share with their family and friends. Physical education classes include:

  • Fitnessgram

  • Circuit training

  • Fitness components
